Authentic Power

Authentic power comes

From dismissing fear 

And embracing the light of love

Knowing we are in charge 

Of our own emotions

And management of our own energy

To create our intentions

We choose for ourselves

The conscious choice of wisdom

Nourishing our inner self

With kindness, compassion, and grace

To fill our own hearts first

So that we have enough to share 

Of ourselves with others

Beyond the grip of fear 

Beyond the doubt of uncertain times

Beyond the wheel of control

We make conscious choices

In order to emerge from these difficult times

With energetic potential

To produce the experiences 

We wish to see in the world

So as we cross this bridge

We know that authentic power

Is ours

If we allow it

If we receive it

For together

We can look fear in the face

And dismiss it

Because authentic power

Is resilient in the face of adversity

And is nourished by 

The unconditional love that exists

When we see ourselves in each other

And we activate hope

Bringing light and consciousness

To each other

For a better world
