There are times in our life

When we must do the work

To fully integrate our soul

As aspects got lost along the way

When the ego protected us from trauma

But at some point the soul yearns

For all aspects to come back to wholeness

When the lessons have been learned

From depression, dissociation, disconnection

From neglect, abuse, grief

Whatever circumstance that took our energy

And replaced it with negative thought patterns

For to be our authentic self

And to fully embrace the divinity within us

We must remember ourselves whole again

For we are always whole in spirit

So let the soul bring back 

All parts the ego took away

In its self protection

Bring the moments back where the pain began

And love the ego in that moment

Letting the ego know that it doesn’t have to protect

The personality anymore

The adult self has aligned with the soul, our higher self

And can love the aspect that was in pain

And bring those moments to the present

To be healed

For the ego in that moment of pain is not alone

The future self, the higher self

Will not abandon the inner child

Will retrieve the fragmented aspects from the ego

And the spirit of our soul can bring wholeness and guidance

Freedom comes when we let go to the resistance within us

Forgiving ourselves and others to open

The door to allowing for a higher vibration of thought

And a path becomes clear

When we lean into the joy of being

That manifestations will follow that serve our soul
