Becoming Whole
Becoming Whole
By Martha MacFarland
At some point in life
We have lost fragments of our soul along the way
Pain and suffering left in our subconscious
Emotional scars formed in our energy field
And then one day we realize
We are holding onto energy that we no longer have to
We look within to see the thoughts and feelings that need healing
We sit with them offering ourselves grace and love
To fully experience and honor our feelings
And at some point then
We become the observer
And detach from the emotions to see ourselves
from the perspective of our Higher Self
Knowing that these lower frequency emotions do not serve our soul
Through non-attachment and non-judgment
We learn we can release these patterns of thought
Forgiving others and ourselves
By sending love and compassion to ourselves and to others
Invoking an energetic release
Where the dark goes into the light
Through deep breathing
Closing our eyes
We see the people and energy in our imagination
And we let our soul express any thoughts we have withheld
To address each person who has caused us pain or hurt
By uttering the words, “I forgive you.”
Then, as each person has been forgiven
A radiant light envelops us and dissolves the visions of the others
Until we see ourselves in a mirror
And recognize the shadow self that is in all of us
Accepting the nature of the human condition
So that we can transcend it
We find balance by seeing the soul growth within us
When we embrace the duality of life
We integrate each part that was fragmented in this lower dimension
And our parent soul or Higher Self in God
Sends loving energy and wisdom to fill each cell in our being
And at this point the energy is released to the light
And our soul is purified and cleansed
Realizing we are perfect, whole, and divine
In this present moment
