Speaking the Power of Truth

I see a person who caresses

And manipulates language

In a game of word play

But do they realize

The power they possess

In their own language?

The power to choose their own words

The power to create their own reality

In their words that bring freedom

For their words transform

The energy around them that they so desire

Resounding the worthiness and wholeness within them

Reminding them

That all answers lie within

Nourishing the declarations that feed their soul

Independent from external voices around them

They journey within to find wisdom

To understand the duality of life

Between self denial and self indulgence

Between self criticism and self love

Between the extremes that tip them off balance

For power, wisdom, and inner strength come

When they focus on their language

Mastering the words they speak

Observing their thoughts

Crafting their language

To match what they want

For what they send out to the world

They attract back to themselves

So each day they make a conscious choice

To focus their thoughts in this very present moment

To see the beauty in the contrast of life

To see what they do want by what they don’t want

In order for them to affirm the desires of their heart

To accept, to believe

They deserve this tree of life

That grows through the power of speaking their truth

Knowing the seeds of language they plant today

Will bloom with the growing season

And these inner lessons will be their life’s work

To visualize a life of abundance

Of wholeness, of worthiness

So they speak their truth

Today, tomorrow, and the day after

And watch the natural flow of their energy

And they find peace within themselves

In order that they find peace with others

And they forgive themselves

In order that they may forgive others

And they heal themselves

In order to share healing with others

And they love themselves

In order that they may love others

For the person who caresses

And manipulates language

In a game of word play

Knows to speak their truth

In the power of their words

To create their own reality
