The Dark Night of the Soul

At some point 

Awakening comes

When we face the dark night 

Of our soul

When depression and hopelessness

Take over

And we don’t know how 

To move on

And in the pain

When the fog of our emotions

Cloud our understanding

Of our true identity

We hide

We shelter

In our emptiness

Questioning the purpose

Of all this suffering

And then a lucid moment

Comes when activation

Of unconditional love

Floods our heart and

We realize we are not alone

We know that we are not separate

From the higher vibrations

Of the Divine

And in this lucidity

We see a different path

A different way

A lighted road

Where we can be guided

To achieve our soul’s purpose

And the dark night of soul

Reveals we must let go

Of the spiritual baggage

Of ourselves, our family

We must clear our energy

In order to release the congestion

In our channels

To open ourselves to the flowing light

To receive 

To allow

A deeper state of consciousness 

Safe and at peace

We embrace who we our

Perfectly unique

And we dust off the jewel

To see the light reflect

Throughout our entire body

Through the crown of our head

A liquid light spilling

Throughout the body

Cleansing and washing the dust

Cleansing any blocks

And through this process

We see the hidden gifts

Inside of ourselves

Removing the fear

That was hidden in our voice

We know we are here

To speak the truth now

Healing all lack

To embrace abundance

Letting the light remove the pain

Restoring our hearts

We radiate now

In the safety and security 

Of the light of intuition

And the intention of change

Now stays with us

Connecting us to pure consciousness

Expanding beyond our bodies

Expanding beyond our home

Expanding beyond our city and state

Expanding beyond our country

Expanding beyond our planet

Until we merge with Cosmic Love

And we know now

We are exactly where we are supposed to be

And we can clear out any karmic imprints

That have held us back

And through non-attachment

The seed of light

Now grows in our soul

Magnetized into our path we walk

And the star of energy

Lets us step into the state 

We desire

And the light now shines

Through the dark night of the soul
